There are several ways each local church can be involved in supporting missionaries: as a local church; as a group within the local church for example UMW, UMM, UMYF, Sunday School class, or as an individual. How much will it cost to support a missionary: Gifts of support can be of any amount. Every gift no matter how large or small is appreciated and supports the missionaries of the church. However, there is a program called Covenant Relationship which is $2,500. per church or at least $5. per member per year which establishes a direct connection between you, your church or group and the missionary.
